I Need Your Opinion!

I decided to take a vote - and I need the opinions of the four people who have had the notebook so far, and of course everyone who is waiting. Im wondering if the full 10 days is needed to complete your page? I know life is busy, and things come up, but I just crunched the numbers again and we are almost at capacity - which means the notebook will be gone for a little over 4 years. I dont mind it being gone that long - but I also dont mind getting it back sooner! I just dont want the people involved towards the end of the line to lose interest...so please, leave me a comment and let me know if I should lower the amount of days you guys have the notebook - 7 days? Maybe 5? Help!

Bet you didn't think this would take off the way it has, huh?

I doubt I'll keep it more then a day or two. I already know what I want to put, so it won't take me long!

How about if you do a 3 day limit?

5-7 sounds fair.

3 days seems fair.

I think you could put it down to 5 days. It's still plenty of creativity time and halves the waiting time! :)

my vote is with 5, cut the time in half :)

I'm guessing less time would be fine. I know, for me, I'll have planned out what I'm going to do long before I get the book, so it shouldn't take long to do. 5 days seem plenty reasonable.

I think 3-5 days is perfect! Three might be pushing it a little, but 5 should be plenty of time.

For those of us way down the list, we probably could plan what we want to say. Five sounds fair.

I vote for 5 days as well. We all have plenty of time to think of what we want to put in it before it gets to us, should be good amount of time.

I think 5-7 is fine, don't forget to count the time for the notebook to travel too!

I think five days is more than enough. No offense, but in four years I might not still care about this should I get it so late. I think that you should start sending out more notebooks and have a few running around so that you get them all back before the years end... if not sooner! At least then you will still have a little excitement about this project. Otherwise no one (or much less people) will care about it in the end.
Just a suggestion. If you do have a few books at the end you could just rip out the pages and bind all the pages together to create your own custom notebook. Just make sure people are dating their pages!
Good luck on whatever you choose.

I agree - 5 is plenty! We have enough time waiting for our turn to plan what to put in it.

I think that having it only 3 days would be fine. I'm just as busy as the next person, maybe busier. But I know the book is coming so I have plenty time to prepare myself.

i haven't had the book yet but i think 3-5 days is plenty of time or just 5 days...but then again i already have an idea of what ill be writing :)

I agree with the others who have commented; five days of fewer seems about right :)

I think that everyone should have a good idea of what they want to do before it comes to them. Then the turn around should be quick.
I think it could be shortened!

I think 5 days would be fine. Of course if your page is finished sooner then post it sooner.. the quicker the better BUT five days give those who want to put more time into it etc time to do it.
